This self-storage facility is an industry leader and was deservedly awarded the Self Storage Association of Australasia – Facility of the Year 2015. Steel Storage was contracted to produce the layout design plus manufacture, supply and install the complete partitioning system for the project. Stage 2 was the largest fitout project undertaken by Steel Storage Australia and under tight construction constraints, completion was achieved ahead of program much to the client’s satisfaction.
The Keswick site is well situated, located only1.3km from Adelaide GPO with close access to Adelaide’s two major arterial roads (Anzac Highway and South Road). The user friendly design and the numerous unit configurations/sizes has ensured that the layout has maximized the available space. Steel Storage are extremely proud to be involved in this award winning project.

U-Store-It is innovate in its services and products offerings and Steel Storage have been at the forefront of pioneering industry designs to better suit our needs. With our recent multi-stage expansion winning 2014 Expansion of the Year the construction times were tight and Steel Storage worked with the team to ensure a seamless delivery of over 1600+ units. The built was extremely complex with product needing to be loaded as floors were being built. We were extremely impressed with not only the way Steel Storage delivered the project(s) but how they brought years of industry and building knowledge to the table allowing us to consider alternative options that were more beneficial for all parties, U-Store-It, the builder and themselves to save us all time and money! The processes in ensuring all defects were fixed prior to hand over were extremely diligent and their attention to detail was impressive to say the least. U-Store-It highly recommends Steel Storage for all your design, built and fit out self storage requirements.”
